Neurons and their interactions give rise to the bewildering complexity that underlies our perceptions, memories, intentions and emotions. This chapter describes the relationship of single neuron studies to other methods, such as EEG, MEG, PET, and fMRI, with a special emphasis on their temporal-spatial resolution. The chapter further briefly summarizes all chapters of the book and places them in context of each other.
