SEC economist Amy Edwards and Professors Raymond (Pat) Fishe, Robert McDonald, and Craig Pirrong discuss Dodd-Frank's impact on derivatives trading. Advantages and disadvantages of centralized clearing are debated, including the possibility that it will increase systemic risk. Futurization of swaps is discussed.
